***** Oshkosh 2025 *****

2025's EAA Oshkosh AirVenture event
was Monday, July 21 to Sunday, July 27

These photos were taken between 7/18 and 7/23
by Chapter 501 pilots or were
screen captured from OSH Cams
7/21 through 7/27.

On Wednesday Mike Garcia got two photos of Chapter 501 members assembled,
above, to honor EAA and present our 50th anniversary banner at the main gate,
and below, at the Blue Barn to show off Dave Jone's donated Adirondack chair
along with our Chapter 501 direction sign on the post celebrating its third anniversary.

First report from Oshkosh! (From Pete Nancoz on Friday July 18.)
"My annual Oshkosh 'Home for the week' picture."

Matt Lamm arrived on an IFR flight plan Saturday, July 19,
thus avoiding the Fisk arrival route. He tied down in
Vintage Aircraft Row 138 near the approach end of Runway 36L.

On Sunday July 20 Jeff Ross taxied his Aztec into a parking place
in a row reserved for twins. By cooincidence, among the singles
in the row behind Jeff, was Matt Lamm's Cessna 182 and campsite.
Jeff's windy arrival temporarly repositioned the location of Matt's tent!

The OSH arrivals of Jeff Ross's Aztec and many others Sunday were occasionally delayed
by the temporary hold up of Runway 9 landings so mass formation landings
of several aircraft types could be accomplishd without delay on Runway 36.

Here, below, are photos taken by Matt Lamm, Dave Jones and Jeff Ross followed by photos from OSH Cams.
We can add more, good ones from cameras of Chapter 501 members. Email them to donprov@optonline.net

Matt Lamm has a caption for his "selfie" photo... "Sorry its a little blurry, it was humid
and the lens on my phone was fogging up. Jess Daisy and Raphael Bautista
are Embry-Riddle alums and got us (Matt Lamm, Nate Bautista, Jeff and Dawn Ross,
Peer Strogies, Gabor Simon) guest tickets to the alumni BBQ."

Dave Jones emailed this photo on July 23 saying,
"I had dinner with Beck Youngberg on Monday night at the Ray Scholar alumni dinner."
